Interview with Marc Alt at the 2009 Compostmodern design conference

Challenge

As a group of student volunteers, we were asked to shoot and edit backstage post-presentation interviews with all of the speakers at the 2009 Compostmodern sustainability and design conference.

Solution

This clip features Marc Alt, founding co-chair of the AIGA Center for Sustainable Design. We built a small studio lighting setup and used multiple Canon Vixia HD digital video cameras in order to do synchronized multi-angle video editing in Final Cut Pro. I edited the clips of Marc Alt, color corrected them, and included the animated Compostmodern logo for consistent branding.
