Challenge

I was asked to completely redesign the website of the charity Aid Still Required from the ground up to improve their branding, help form a better first impression and make the donation process smoother.

Solution

I interviewed them about their goals for the website and which areas needed improving. I built wireframes and created a content structure that simplifies their message into smaller easy to digest chunks. I built the visual design on top of the wireframes which were inspired by numerous websites that we chose to model, as well as designing from their own existing branding. Then I built the site with WordPress as a backend to manage the content. I used Foundation as a framework to build the mobile responsive grid and responsive typography system, as well as to provide support for retina images.
